The Fatties Sauna

Last night I've decided to try out other gay bathhouse in town known as 52 Forest Sauna. This sauna has been equally long-standing as Otot2 and others. They all have been operating for decade yet they have survived and still surviving through the toughest times. This sauna is not as popular as those I have been to. It is often overshadowed by Otot2 because both of its location are just like 1km apart. Also, the type of crowd is far cry from Otot2. Let me tell you why in a few moment.

The location is really strategic - 5 minutes walk from MRT station and the surrounding is oddly quiet at night. I don't have to transit between stations like how I usually go to Otot2, it saves up time and headache - total travel time on train is just 30 minutes. It is located in between of the shoplot, owning a 3-floored premise. I am kinda surprised by that.

The price for entry is RM26 on weekdays; RM29 on weekends and public holiday. Mannnn that is cheap.

The locker availability is fairly limited. What surprises me the most is the cleanliness of the toilet and open shower. The 1st floor is the reception and massage parlour; The dry and wet sauna is at 2nd floor; The 3rd floor is just a mini gym.

After I took a shower, I went to the dry sauna. It is too small for just 6 people inside. But the temperature of the heat is fairly decent unlike otot2's it can just melt your face off if you spend more than 10 minutes inside. The best part is the wet sauna - it is spacious and well lit inside, and I love the heat so much.

Let's talk about the crowd. Since it is on weekday, the crowd slowly thins out after 7pm. If you like fat and chubby men, this place is for you. Almost every men in the premise is fat. I am not gonna sugatcoat this - these fat guys are every corner. Even the leanest guy amongst them is also stocky with obvious belly. There is so many fat guys I wonder if I will gain extra few pounds after leaving the place. I went to explore the dark room but it was empty.  

Apparently, I did not have any action. I just enjoyed the immense heat of the wet sauna for at least 1 hour and left at 9pm.

Now I know the reason this sauna is often overlooked and cheap. If you are into fat guys, this is the place. Will I ever come back again? Probably not.
